On December 19th, musician Yasser Tejeda brought his musical talents to our school. Yasser provided our students with a short history of each genre and rhythmic pattern examples found in music from the Dominican Republic. His performance was a great interactive and educational experience for both teachers and students. Thanks @yassertejeda !

Congratulations to our STEAM Fair raffle winners! 🎊
Dear PS 115 Families,
I would like to extend my sincerest gratitude to all of you for attending our annual STEAM family night yesterday, Thursday November 30th. With 220 people in attendance, it was truly heartwarming to see so many parents and students come together to explore and engage in various activities related to science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.
I was genuinely thrilled to witness the high level of engagement and excitement among both students and parents throughout the evening. It was evident that everyone was fully immerse in the hands-on learning experiences and collaborative challenges that were presented. Events like this serve as a powerful reminder of the purpose and importance of creating more opportunities for meaningful parent-student-teacher engagement.
By fostering a sense of community and shared learning experiences, we are able to strengthen the bond between home and school, ultimately contributing to the academic success and personal growth of our students. Your involvement and support are truly invaluable, and I hope that the positive outcomes of last night’s event will inspire continued participation in future endeavors.
Once again, thank you for your presence and participation at our STEAM family night. We look forward to more opportunities to come together and celebrate the advancement of our students’ education.
Sincerely,
Mr. Consuegra
Principal
