A big thanks to Ms. Annie, our art teacher, for supporting and guiding two 5th grade students to enter the 9th Annual Manhattan Borough Arts Festival . Congratulations to Stefania's "Blue Nature” and Dayana's' “Joy” acceptances in the 9th annual Manhattan Borough Arts Festival, Visual Arts Exhibit! 🎉 This year’s exhibition will take place at MoMA Cullman Education and Research Building! What an honor to present the work of our talented young artists in such a thrilling institution whose mission promotes important modern and contemporary artists from around the world. Their work will be celebrated on May 31st from 5:30 – 7:30 PM with an opening night reception for school communities, families and students!

Congratulations to our K-2 students for performing their Ajna dance routines this winter through one of our amazing residencies! They did a great job sharing Bollywood dances with their classmates while wearing traditional Indian dress. We loved learning about different cultures.

We celebrated Earth Day at school by wearing green. To help grow our school community garden, some of our classes planted seeds. We can't wait to use the resources provided by the sustainability grant that was awarded to us!

Congratulations to some of our 4th grade students along with their mentor Ms. Thams!
Our school had a top submission for the 2023 Minecraft Battle of the Boroughs Challenge. The selected student teams will compete live against other top borough teams at the Manhattan Borough Championships. The Manhattan team that wins will be invited to the citywide championship to compete against winners from the other boroughs. The final championship will be presided over by the Mayor and other NYC officials.
See the attached flier for event details! We hope to see our PS 115 Community at the event to cheer on our teams!

We're celebrating the 100th Day of School by dressing up as if we were 100 years old on Friday, February 17th. We can't wait to see your outfits!

Congratulations to us! Our school was selected as a winner of the 7th Annual DOE Office of Sustainability Project Grant in the category of Gardening and Outdoor Learning: Materials. Thank you to Ms. Vespoli for writing and submitting the grant proposal and Ms. Thams for bringing the grant to our attention! We are excited to bring this project to life!
